Probably Just Hungry was a personal project that assessed album art in conjunction with the music contained within. I felt this was an area that was fading as music streaming was starting to take off (though in retrospect, the vinyl boom did just the opposite).
The name is taken from a line in Spiritualized song that reads: “I think I’m in love / Probably just hungry”.
With each post, I took an album and dissected the way its sound and visuals meshed (or didn't). Over the years, the span of eras, styles and aesthetics grew, so if you ever wanted to know what my thoughts on Enya, Johnny Cash and N.W.A. are, you'll find it all here in one place, sorted alphabetically by artist.
