Team Rally Award: Charter Communications SAAF UI Team

Concentrix
December 2022

The Team Rally Award are a year-end award given to teams that showed a particular amount of persistence and grit that delivered value to their clients.

The team that won this award was tasked with developing a user interface for Charter’s internal SAAF API testing application. Over the course of six months, we took their current state command prompt-launched tests into a full UI. My role was as the core designer, weighing in on requirements and user stories, iterating on wireframes and relaying the information to the development team.

UX Design Certification

Springboard
August 2019

I received this certification at the completion of Springboard’s UX Design course, which was estimated at requiring approximately 120 hours.

The lesson plan was comprehensive, designed to follow the full UX process from start to finish, beginning with methodological concepts like Design Thinking and Human Centered Design; through research, ideation, wireframing and prototyping; and culminating in a capstone project.

I tied my progress at Springboard to a prototype developed as part of the digital deliverable task force at Grant Thornton. A case study is available to view here.

More information on Springboard is available here. Please note that this particular course has been discontinued, with its modules being distributed as portions of related courses within Springboard’s Design department.

Marketing Brilliance Award: Catalyst

Grant Thornton
December 2018

The Marketing Brilliance Awards are the Grant Thornton National Marketing Organization’s fiscal year-end award recognizing outstanding work for varying reasons. Of the six awards given, three are for individuals — one of which, named the Catalyst award, is for “an individual whose idea, strategy, approach, tactic or output served as a critical element to the success of a campaign or marketing initiative … As a key contributor, this individual went above and beyond creating a measurable impact.”

In December of 2018, I received the year’s Catalyst award for my work towards shifting theStudio’s proposal process and output further in a digital direction. Pushing against the “PDF standard” of the industry at large, I worked to develop a full practice that eased the transition of veteran partner and beginning stakeholders alike, from collection of win themes and notes to polished, interactive and digital deliverables.
